The political dispute in Rivers state between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Governor Nyesom Wike, has taken on a new significance since Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in 2023, has a media aide named Abdul-Aziz Na’ibi Abubakar. He took delight in announcing that recent developments, including the declaration of 25 seats in the Rivers Assembly as vacant by the Court, had only further validated his claims.
He triumphantly pronounced that Wike’s political clout was now virtually non-existent, with his erstwhile authority diminished following the emergence of the court’s decision.
Abdul-Aziz Na’ibi Abubakar said this in a post he shared on his official X handle.
According to Abdul-Aziz Na’ibi Abubakar;
