Betta Edu, the suspended minister of humanitarian affairs, has allegedly shown an amazing work ethic by actively participating in President Bola Tinubu’s campaign, according to Olufemi Pedro, a former deputy governor of Lagos State. He highlighted Betta’s wide-ranging efforts to mobilize women, mentioning that she toured the country alongside the Presidential team throughout the campaign. He described how he first met Betta, who was announced as a contender for their political party’s Women Leader post in Abuja at the beginning of 2022.On a later courtesy visit to Lagos, he expressed admiration for Betta’s manner, style, and comportment.

According to a statement he made and shared with Independent Nigeria, “I first met Betta in early 2022 when she was presented to me as a candidate for our party’s women’s leader in Abuja.” Soon after, she was in Lagos for a formal visit, and I was struck by her demeanour, her style, and her carriage.She was articulate, confident, knew exactly what she wanted, and gave off the impression of being driven, ambitious, and focused. Later, after winning the election, she was named the party’s female leader. Throughout Tinubu’s campaign, Betta Edu put in a lot of effort and was always encouraging women. She travelled the nation with the presidential team during their campaign and was present at most of the events.
