I Expect That LP Members Who Are In National Assembly To Rally Behind This Bill — According to KachikwuIn an interview with Arise Television, former ADC presidential candidate Dumebi Kachikwu stated that he anticipates the Nigerian Patriot Act, which he is pushing, will be supported by every Labour Party member. He stated in the interview that “you and your children must use public hospitals and schools if you want to be in public office. Your homes are not allowed to have armed security. To see our beautiful roads and scenery, you must travel by car.

He added that “you cannot have boreholes or generators in your houses; you will have to do with what the generality of Nigerians are doing; that is simply what the bill states.

Regarding what he is trying to do, he said, “My friend pushed this bill two years ago, and it was killed on the floor. What I am trying to do is get Nigerians behind this bill so that by the time we get to the National Assembly, seeing that Nigerians push Labour Party members there, I expect that Labour Party members who are in the National Assembly will all rally behind this bill because they seem to be the party of most Nigerians, and this bill speaks to the problems of most Nigerians.

He further added, “I am looking up to Labour Party members in the National Assembly and hope they will wholeheartedly adopt this bill.
