Hon Emma Egoh said. "Abuja had been asleep in terms of infrastructure, it has been asleep in the last eight years. Oghene Emma Egoh revealed in an open interview on TVC TV that since Wike’s arrival in Abuja, he has achieved notable progress in a number of areas and received recognition for his attempts to bring the city back to life. He claimed that among his achievements were building more than 24 new schools, giving 130 elementary and secondary students scholarships, paying off unpaid wage arrears, and paying off debts owing to employees.

He emphasized that Wike has prioritized infrastructure development, with substantial progress in roads, hospitals, water projects, and the completion of major road projects approaching 98%.

He said Wike’s determination to transform Abuja into a world-class city has been evident through the inauguration of rehabilitation and resurfacing projects for 49 roads, as well as the advancement of the Abuja Rail Mass Transit project, which is nearing completion.

He said, “Abuja had been asleep in terms of infrastructure, it has been asleep in the last eight years. But since Wike came to Abuja, everybody is clapping hands saying, ‘President Tinubu, you did well by bringing Wike.’ What can we talk about? Is it roads? Is it schools? He has built overe 24 new schools within that short time. He identified 130 students in primary and secondary, and awarded scholarships. Is it arrears of salary? Is it monies that government has been owing some workers before? All these, he has cleared. Roads, Hospitals, Water projects.
