PUNK The incident happened on Friday at 11:00 p.m. in the Sango-Ota area on Araromi Street, according to the state command.
Our correspondent was informed by the authorities that the 54-year-old had been pressuring his younger brother to have sex.
According to the authorities, the younger brother drew a machete to end Yellow’s life in response to his constant requests.
Odutola Omolola, the command’s spokeswoman, told PUNCH Metro in an exclusive interview on Sunday that Yellow’s body had been retrieved and placed at the Ifo General Hospital.
Odutola told PUNCH, “He has confessed to the crime. He told our men, who arrested him, that he killed his brother because he kept disturbing him for sex. His case will soon be transferred once the preliminary investigation is completed.”
As per the December 2023 crime statistics, exclusively provided to our correspondent on Sunday, prior to this present occurrence, the state had documented roughly 18 homicide incidents and an additional eight sexual offenses throughout the month.
