Significant numbers of residents protested against the high cost of living, according to DAILY TRUST.
It is no longer news that the current hike in the prices of goods and services across the nation has resulted into several protests in different states.
In a post that Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour made on his X handle on Sunday, he said people are suffering, and what is left of the middle class is being pushed into poverty on a daily basis.
He said the people are suffering yet the government is more concerned about regulating the social media.
Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour wrote on his page;
“People are suffering, and what is left of the middle class is being pushed into poverty on a daily basis. Busiare having to let people go because they can not sustain their wage bill, investors are holding off on investments in Lagos based on bigotry from 2023.
