Hamas Slams Netanyahu For Rejecting Ceasefire, Disclosed He Wants More Bloodshed

The Islamist organization that rules Gaza, Hamas, has reportedly lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for turning down its offer of a truce and pledging to achieve “absolute victory” in the ongoing conflict, according to Sky News. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Netanyahu called Hamas’s suggested parameters “delusional” during a news conference on Wednesday and declared that Israel would not end its military campaign until all of its objectives were met.

Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior Hamas official, said Netanyahu’s remarks “are a form of political bravado” and show his “intention to pursue the conflict in the region”.

He said Hamas is “prepared to deal with all options” and will not surrender to Israel’s demands.

The exchange of words came amid recent talks for a prisoner swap between Israel and Hamas, and a cessation to hostilities in Gaza that has killed more than 20,000 Palestinians.

The international community has urged both sides to end the violence and resume negotiations.

However, Hamas has insisted on lifting the Israeli blockade on Gaza and the protection of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, while Israel has demanded an end to the rocket attacks from Gaza and the destruction of Hamas’s military infrastructure. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
