Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has issued a warning against attempts to sabotage the tranquility in the state by promising term extensions to individuals in defiance of court orders. He urged those spreading false assurances to cease, prioritising peace in the state. He added that his government is focused on upholding the rule of law and the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to him, “It’s really unfortunate that we started hearing some disturbing news from some LGAs about the invasion of the secretariat.
