The African Development Bank (ADB) President, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, has commented on the news of Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, the governor of Ondo State, passing away. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
On his official social media account—formerly known as Twitter—Akinwumi expressed his sadness over Governor Akeredolu’s passing.
“I am saddened by the passing away of my friend and brother, Governor Akeredolu of Ondo State.”
He added that the former governor fought a commendable battle and completed the journey.
“You fought a good fight. You finished the race. You were kindhearted. You served the people with commitment.” Said, Akinwumi.
The President of the AfDB, Akinwumi, expressed a heartfelt wish for God to bring comfort to Governor Akeredolu’s families and the residents of Ondo state.
“May God comfort your family and the people of Ondo State. Adieu Aketi.” Said, Akinwumi.
The governor, who had been fighting leukemia, succumbed to the illness on Wednesday morning at a hospital in Lagos State. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
