Gen Buratai Said Insurgency Will Last For 20 Years, He Later Said Gen Attahiru Was On Track - According to Major General Danjuma

Major General Danjuma Ali-Keffi, a former general officer commanding the 1st Division of the Nigerian Army, has considered the noteworthy advancements made under the late General Ibrahim Attahiru. He has observed that General Buratai, the former Chief of Army Staff, had originally predicted that the insurgency in Nigeria would cease in 20 years. If his death was caused by external forces, then it was against the entire nation. General Attahiru’s death has dealt an heavy blow to security.
