Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, discussed a number of topics with the Lagos State media on Thursday, including the status of the country and the difficulties Nigerians are facing as a result of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policies.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

However, during an interview with Saturday Tribune, Gani Adams was told that some people suggested he should not have attacked his fellow Yoruba man in that manner, but when he was reacting to this, he said that as a Yoruba leader, if he keeps quiet on the wrongdoing of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in four years, or even in eight years, if another tribe becomes a president, if he decides to talk, Nigerians won’t judge him well.

Gani Adams was asked if he was worried in the Tinubu’s government went after protesters who protested against hunger in the country, and while he was responding, he said he listened to the demand of these young guys, even though he doesn’t know them.

He said, “The only person I know in that protest is Sowore. Sowore and I have not seen eye to eye for more than 20 years and Ebun Adegboruwa happens to be my lawyer. But I listened to the demand of these young protesters. The 10 or 12 demands are what Nigeria needs.”

He alleged after Tinubu’s administration arrested over 3,000 people after the protests, police knew what to charge the protesters for but they charged them for treason and terrorism.

Further talking, he said, “If you charge a protester with a placard with terrorism, what will you charge Boko-Haram ? What will you charge the terrorist that is disturbing people in Zamfara State, who is even taking money from the community every month ?”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
