Mr. Edison Ehie, the chief of staff to Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State, has said that he was approached by some people offering money to remove Governor Fubara from office, but he declined their offer. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
According to Daily Post, the Chief of Staff made this disclosure while speaking in Ahoada East area of Rivers State, during the weekend. However, he failed to disclose the Identity of those who offered him the money to impeach the governor.
Mr Ehie said: “They invited me, your son, to impeach the governor and I told them clearly, I was not interested.”
Furthermore, he noted that because he refused to accept their offer, they conspired against him and declared him wanted.
It should be recalled that the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Edison Ehie, in 2023, was declared wanted by the Nigerian police, in connection with the invasion of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
