There are rumors that the governor of the state, Siminalayi Fubara, has secret intentions to demolish the Assembly quarters. These allegations are made by the members led by Amaewhule in the Rivers State House of Assembly Hall. This accusation comes after the governor made an unexpected trip to the quarters.

However, Aguma made reference to the red pen that is being used by the governor to sign various documents, noting that the ink in the pen will eventually dry one day, and the governor, Fubara, will give accounts of how the authority is being used.

In a video posted by Arise News, the APC chieftain, Igo Aguma, said, “The red bird will run dry one day, and you will be made to answer. It has not been appealed against.”.
