Governor Fubara discussed his experiences receiving criticism and his comments on his professional growth in a video that Channels Television aired on Monday, May 13, 2024.
The governor reflected on his past, stating that if he were a chief accountant at level ten in 2010, he would have advanced significantly by 2023, given his familiarity with the civil service. He criticized others for speaking carelessly to impress their superiors but refused to stoop to such levels.
His words, “If in 2010, I was chief accountant, level ten, those of you who know the civil service, where will I be before 2023? Because you want to impress your paymaster, you talk carelessly. But I won’t reduce myself to that kind of talk. I am the only governor in the whole federation where local government chairman will abuse and I will take it. I wish them well.
