Speaking on Friday, Governor Fubara emphasized the state’s move away from depending on borrowing to carry out projects during a meeting with members of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Procurement.

He connected this development to careful resource management, accountability, and transparency under his administration.

He underlined his commitment to the citizen’s well-being and outlined his administration’s important areas for investment: education, healthcare, and agriculture.

The governor highlighted the growth in revenue compared to the previous range of N12 billion to N13 billion.

He stressed the importance of directing these resources towards sectors that drive progress, including education, healthcare, and agriculture, while acknowledging the necessity of infrastructural development, particularly in road construction.

In a plea to the committee, Governor Fubara urged unwavering commitment to honesty and integrity in their endeavors.

“We will also do a few roads but the most important thing is these three items,” Fubara stated. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
