Nzeakor said that although God may bestow power, God did not buy Fubara’s nomination form or finance his campaign. He underlined the contributions of other people who helped Fubara out financially and made efforts to guarantee his triumph over rivals.

In a recent video shared on YouTube by Channels TV, Effiong alleged that Wike suggested that he single-handedly made Fubara governor of the state. He said Wike should stop speaking as if he determined the outcome of the governorship election by merely writing Fubara’s name and instructing INEC to declare him the winner.

Effiong also said regardless of the disagreements between Wike and Fubara, the welfare of the state should be paramount and he stressed the need for both parties to adhere to constitutional principles and the rule of law.

In Effiong’s words: “Let Wike stop speaking as if he just used pen and wrote Fubara’s name and gave INEC to declare, because this is also an indictment on INEC that one individual is now basically laying claim to the emergence of a governor of a state”. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
