Fubara: Even Before You Became Gov, I Was Already LG Chairman And In Democracy - According to Samuel NwanosikeSamuel Nwanosike, the chairman of the Ikwerre Local Government Area in Rivers State, asserts that he was already operating in a democracy and holding the position of local government chairman prior to Siminalayi Fubara’s election as governor. He said that the Rivers state administration had been refusing to send money meant for his Ikwerre local government for the previous two months. In a video that AIT posted, Nwanosike stated that Fubara’s actions were motivated by his lack of amicability with both him and the chairman of Emuoha.

According to Samuel, “The governor (Fubara) believes I don’t attend his functions or he doesn’t like my face.”
