In an interview with Sunrise Daily, a Channels Television program, former Chair of the Section of Public Interest and Development, Monday Ubani, questioned why Governor Siminalayi Fubara is adamant about not presenting the budget, despite having signed a deal with the lawmakers stating that it would be re-presented. Monday Ubani had said, “Yes, so what I’m saying, if they agreed that they should go and represent the budget, what stops him from — because they will not stop him, you know, they will not stop that budget from being passed — they will not stop the budget of the Governor, so if he (President Tinubu) says go and represent, so what is stopping him from representing?
