Hojlund got the winner, taking advantage of a loose McGinn touch in the box to find the back of the net for his first Premier League goal, one that proved to be the winner as the hosts saw out the remaining minutes.

It’s a huge win for United as they end their winless run, picking up three points that move them up to sixth. For Villa, they miss the opportunity to move level on points with leaders Liverpool, staying in third.
