Lawyer Dele Farotimi has talked about General Yakubu Gowon (Retd), the former head of state of Nigeria who oversaw the country during and after the civil war. As Head of State, Gowon is credited for saying that the problem facing Nigeria was not a lack of money but rather how to spend it. He claimed that Gowon made these remarks at a period when the nation lacked adequate road, healthcare, and educational facilities.
