Even In Death, Aiyedatiwa Has Continued To Display A Lack Of Respect For The Deceased - According to Ondo Groups

The late governor’s memory is deemed to be disrespected and inappropriate by CPC and OEA, who express their unhappiness with Aiyedatiwa’s absence. Both factions emphasize how important it is to maintain harmony and civility on such somber events.

Coordinator Remi Ogunmola and General Secretary Chief Yemi Oladiran issue separate statements condemning the act, emphasizing the role of a leader in demonstrating empathy and unity during times of grief.

Ogunmola questions Aiyedatiwa’s priorities, stating, “It is sheer wickedness to refuse to receive the body of your former principal,” criticizing the governor’s absence as a failure to honor Akeredolu’s legacy.

According to Daily Post, OEA accused Aiyedatiwa of shedding crocodile tears and points out his questionable behavior since Akeredolu’s demise. The group expresses concern over the governor’s lack of respect for the deceased and dissatisfaction with the handling of the mourning process.

The group said, “With this development, we don’t need to be told that Aiyedatiwa didn’t hold his late boss in high regard.

“Even in death, Aiyedatiwa has continued to display a lack of respect and love for the deceased. It’s a sad and unfortunate situation.”
