Despite having less than a year in office, he emphasized that Wike has made significant strides across various sectors, reflecting his exceptional capability and drive for progress.
He highlighted a South African proverb to illustrate Wike’s effectiveness, stating that his results speak for themselves, much like a sharp spear requires no additional polish.
Regardless of personal opinions about Wike’s personality, he said it is impossible to deny Wike’s tangible accomplishments and the impact he has made in transforming Abuja.
He said, “El-Rufai did quite a lot in Abuja but what Wike is doing in Abuja will obliterate all the performances of El-Rufai very soon. The man is not up to one year. There’s a South Africa proverb that says, a sharp spear needs no polish. Once the spear is sharped, it needs no polish. It can enter into anything you use it for. That’s how Wike is.
