El-Rufai: The N423 bn Was The Cash They Took And You Cannot Tie It Down To Any Project—According to Henry MarahHenry Marah, the chairman of the Kaduna Assembly’s Ad Hoc Committee on Probe, provided some insight into the investigation in light of the probe into the administration of former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai. He said that this money was unrelated to any Kaduna State initiative. He admitted that more than N1.8 trillion had been taken out of the Kaduna State SD account by the Commission of Finance and the Accountant General, and that none of these sums had been applied to any state-related initiatives or activities.

Speaking further in the video, he stated that the N1.8 trillion, N30 billion, and N423 billion are part of the things that were uncovered in the investigation of the Nasir El-Rufai administration.

Speaking further in an interview with Channels Television, he said, “These funds were taken without any activity attached to them. The N423 billion was the cash they took, and you cannot tie it down to any project, that is one discovery on its own.
