While reacting, Senator Shehu Sani made it known that for eight years, he stood alone telling the people of Kaduna State and Nigerians how the the former governor of the state, systematically looted the state’s resources. He went on and noted that the people inside and outside Kaduna State were deceived with propaganda.

Furthermore, the former lawmaker accused the former Kaduna State Governor of wrecking the state’s economy, noting that he also destroyed the lives and livelihoods of millions of people in Kaduna State

Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle, while reacting to the recent report that the Kaduna State is planning to probe El-Rufai.

In addition, Senator Shehu Sani noted that many politicians in Kaduna State were silenced out of fear of arrest, noting that he refused to be silenced. He thereby stated it clearly that the Kaduna Assembly report has vindicated him.

He wrote: “For eight years, I stood alone telling the people of Kaduna State and the country how our state was systematically looted by the Governor and the criminal gang around him. The People inside and outside the state were deceived with aesthetics and industrial scale propaganda.

“They wrecked the economy of the state, enriched themselves and their families, destroyed the lives and livelihoods of millions of people and used religion to divide our state. I was persecuted and many attempts were made on my life and that of my supporters. Many politicians in the state were silenced out of fear of arrest, attacks by thugs or having their properties confiscated or demolished. I refused to be silenced. The Kaduna Assembly report is a vindication.”
