Edo State: If PDP decides to impeach their deputy Governor, we will cultivate him as a supporter to support the APC candidate – According to Afegbua

Former Edo State commissioner for information and APC chieftain Kassim Afegbua has stated that in the event that Comrade Philip Shaibu, the deputy governor of Edo State, is impeached, the party will nurture Shaibu as a supporter to back the APC candidate. The overriding interest for me is to see that APC wins the election, defeats its opponents both Labour Party and PDP. And set the state on a new pedestal of development and growth.”

When asked for his reaction to that in an interview with Deji Badmus on TV360, Kassim Afegbua said: “well, we are from the same Edo North senatorial district. The more crisis PDP gets, the better for APC. As a member of the APC, I would pray the PDP gets itself enmeshed in one crisis or the other.
