Olumide Akpata stated on his verified Facebook page; “Yesterday was truly a remarkable experience at Benson Idahosa University (BIU), where I had the privilege of participating in the “Thinkers Nest” programme an initiative of the President of BIU, Bishop FEB Idahosa II Feb Idahosa. As promised, the event provided a fertile ground for intellectual discourse, fostering the exchange of ideas and nurturing the minds that will shape the future of our dear State.”
He added; “I was deeply impressed by the insightful contributions and thought-provoking questions from the moderator, the staff and students who graced the occasion. Their keen intellect, curiosity, and passion for shaping a better Edo State were palpable. The students, in particular, demonstrated a level of brilliance that left me in awe, challenging me to consider new perspectives and think more critically about the issues at hand.”
He stated further; “It was a truly rewarding experience for me to interact with this dynamic community of scholars and future leaders. Their energy and enthusiasm were contagious, reminding me of the immense potential that lies within our youth when provided with the right platforms and opportunities.”
He noted; “I express my sincere gratitude to the President, faculty, staff, and students of Benson Idahosa University for organising this event and for their warm hospitality. Initiatives like these are crucial in cultivating a culture of intellectual engagement, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving—essential ingredients for building a prosperous and sustainable future for Edo State.”
