Afegbua emphasised his ability to deliver good governance to the people and his experience as a politician. He also spoke about his popularity in the state and in the country at large.
According to him, “I’m not going to bother myself with what happens in the PDP for now. When they give me the ticket, I’ve told them, Emilokan, they should give me this ticket and let me go and bring home the trophy. I’ll trance any of the candidates of the PDP and Labour Party if the APC can give me the ticket of the party. One, I have a rich understanding of what is obtained in the state.
