During police operations on several hideouts in Agege, Oshodi, two women and twenty-five males were Arrested

During their operations at various criminal hideouts in the Agege and Oshodi regions of the state, men of the Lagos State Police Command’s Rapid Response Squad (RRS) detained a total of 27 suspected criminals, including two women, it was learned on Saturday. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In a statement published on its Facebook page on Saturday, the RRS announced the arrests, stating that intelligence reports about the notorious activities of the two females and twenty-five males at their hideouts led to their capture at Agege Under bridge, Oke Koto, Akerele, Markaz, Tabon–Tabon, Oshodi, and other locations.

It was gathered that the operatives of the RRS, acting on what they described as “credible intelligence and extensive surveillance,” picked them up at the various hideouts.

According to the statement, the commander of the squad has ordered that they be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation about their activities.

The statement said: “Around 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, our operatives, acting on credible intelligence and extensive surveillance of some notorious hideouts in Agege and Oshodi, arrested 27 suspects in an efforts to minimize crime.

“The suspects consist of 25 males and 2 females. The suspects were arrested in Agege Under bridge, Oke Koto, Akerele, Markaz, Tabon-Tabon, Oshodi, among others.

“The Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, stated that the squad is taking the fight to the criminals in their hideouts.

“The suspects would be charged to court for prosecution in line with the directives of Commissioner of Police Lagos State CP Adegoke Fayoade.”
