He claims that by playing on the Igbo people’s anxieties of religious persecution and conversion, Obi’s messaging fostered the impression that the APC’s “Muslim-Muslim” ticket would restrict their freedom of religion.

As a Catholic, he responds that these concerns were unfounded and notes that, ever since the election, he has been able to freely and peacefully practise his faith under the APC government.

For crying out loud, modern civilization dictates what tribe and religion members should believe. And that’s precisely how he played it.
