He described how completely incapacitated he was, to the point where his wife had to help him do everyday tasks like use the restroom. He said that the severity of his condition’s decline resulted in instances of collapse, bone marrow failure, and pneumonia that led to the collapse of a portion of his lungs. He said in an interview with Channels TV, ”When we call upon God, he will answer us. Even when we go through the fire or we go through the storm, he is with us. And remember what the Bible says, even though I walk in the valley of the shadow of death. Your rod and your staff comfort me. I literally walked through the shadow of death. These were stages during this period, that I was totally prostrate. I could not do anything, my wife would have to take me to the toilet from the bed. It was that bad. In one or two occasions I actually collapsed, I had bone marrow failure and I had even the side of my lungs totally collapsed due to pneumonia.
