Diverse Reactions When Reports Show Which South-East State Has The Region's Highest GDP

The public’s response to a report that details the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the five South-East states has been divided, with many expressing surprise at the figures. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Imo State has the highest GDP in the South-East, according to a survey by BudgIT, which was reported by The Cable on Friday. The GDP of Imo State is N7.68 trillion, whereas the GDP of Anambra State is N5.14 trillion.

 

Third on the list is Abia State which has a GDP of N3.53 trillion, and the fourth is Ebonyi State with a GDP of N2.24 trillion. Surprisingly, the South-East state with the lowest GDP in the region is Enugu State with N1.45 trillion.

The report has been attracting reactions from people, and many have taken to the comments section to share their views on it. Some were surprised to see that Ebonyi State generates more income than Enugu State, and said that the credit should be given to the efforts of the former administration.

Some people also said that they are surprised that Imo State has the highest GDP in the South-East region, higher than Anambra State, and said that the state is not getting the credit it deserves.
