Following his revelation of what Cristiano Ronaldo said to him following their match against Slovenia, Portuguese goalkeeper Diogo Costa started crying. In his words he said; “I cried when Ronaldo told me you saved me from retirement.”

Recall that Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty in the first half of extra time versus Slovenia few days ago in the quarter finals of the Euro 2024 competition, and needed Diogo Costa to save three penalties later on.
