According to allegations made by Dennis Amachree, a former director of the DSS, Joe Ajaero, the president of the NLC, planned to visit the United Kingdom, which is home to the primary suspect in the terrorism financing case. This, he said, enhances the possibility that Ajaero will try to get in touch with the suspect.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He pointed out that Ajaero’s travel plans and alleged connections to terrorist financing suspects warrant close scrutiny and investigation by the security agencies. He argued that the DSS (Department of State Services) can hold Ajaero’s passport for as long as they deem necessary. He however stated that if a court orders Ajaero’s release, the DSS will return his passport.

He said in an interview with Channels TV, ”If you are under investigation in Lagos, the police will tell you not to leave town because you don’t have to go anywhere and they will start looking for you. So for terrorist financing which Ajaero has been accused of and which he is currently under investigation for, he cannot leave the country.

And the main man suspected for terrorism financing is in UK and Ajaero is going to UK. I don’t think Ajaero is going to go to London and not talk to that same person. The Briton is in London running his mouth. If it is in a foreign country, that man would have been put under custody. The DSS could hold Ajaero’s passport for as long as they want.
