Governor Sheriff Oborevwori stated on his verified Facebook page; “After returning from inspecting projects in the riverine today in Warri South-West and Burutu Local Government Areas of the state, I was informed about a tragic petrol tanker explosion along the Warri-Benin Road.”
He added; “I rushed to the scene, where lives were lost, and properties worth millions of Naira were destroyed in the inferno. It is a somber moment for me as I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. May God grant their souls eternal rest.”
