Khamenei’s tweet echoed his previous statements in which he accused the US of orchestrating Israel’s bombing campaign in Gaza and warned that the IDF’s operations would not go unanswered. He also called for a “humanitarian truce” in the war-torn enclave, a proposal that was supported by 120 countries at the UN but opposed by 14, including the US and four EU members.
