Following his team’s 2-1 victory over Parma, in which Romelu Lukaku, Osimhen’s replacement, scored one goal off the bench, Conte addressed the circumstances surrounding Osimhen. Due to the Blues’ refusal to match Osimhen’s wage demand, he was unable to finalize his transfer to Chelsea on Friday, the day of the transfer deadline.

It will be challenging for the Super Eagles striker to get playing time under Conte with Lukaku joining the team.
