CDS:”People Are Being Killed As A Result of Simon Ekpa’s Comments, He Must Be Arrested And Prosecuted”

The chief of defense staff of Nigeria, Christopher Musa, has demanded the arrest and prosecution of activist Simon Ekpa, who is located in Finland and is charged with inciting violence in Nigeria. Musa expressed frustration that despite repeated complaints, the Finnish government has failed to take action against Ekpa, allowing him to continue his activities unchecked. He warned that if the European Union, which supports democracy in Nigeria, fails to act, it would suggest they do not have Nigeria’s best interests at heart.

The Chief of Defense Staff made his comments at a security summit and town hall meeting in the Niger Delta region, where insecurity and violence have been on the rise. He emphasized the need for diplomatic efforts to bring Ekpa to justice, stating that his actions have led to the loss of lives and must be addressed.

In his words;

“We have repeatedly complained about the issue of Simon Ekpa. He’s in Finland, The Finnish Government are giving him all the support and he’s doing what he’s doing. The comments he’s making, people are being killed and nothing is being done and this is democracy. If the European union is the one supporting this democracy and this is happening and they’re not acting, then they don’t mean well for Nigeria. We have said that in clear terms, we need to deplomatically find means of getting him out. Whatever it’s that he’s doing, he must be arrested, he must be prosecuted”READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>
