CBN: Anthony Sani 'I am not aware of any plan by the North to take back power in 2027 by not supporting the South'

According to Anthony Sani, a former secretary general of the Arewa Consultative Forum [ACF], President Bola Tinubu has not so much irritated the North that it would change its support in the 2027 election in the midst of the CBN offices moving to Lagos. He disregarded any strategy in the North to seize back control in 2027 by refusing assistance from the South. In particular, he emphasized the contribution that APC governors in the North played in helping President Bola Tinubu emerge from the previous primaries and win the election. He said in an interview with The Sun, ”I am not aware of any plan by the North to take back power in 2027 by not supporting the South. Especially when regard is paid to the fact that it was APC governors in the North who caused the prevailing of President Bola Tinubu during the last primaries leading to his victory to the elections. I don’t think Tinubu has grated the nerves of the North that it would change its mind.
