The Palestinian organization called the bombing a “new war crime” and “an extension of the genocidal war” that Israel is waging against the Palestinian people, according to Al Jazeera.
Hamas also criticized the international community for its failure to intervene and stop “the suffering and oppression” that Palestinians are facing under the Israeli occupation and siege.
Hamas specifically singled out US President Joe Biden, calling him the “chief partner” in Israel’s crimes and accusing him of providing unconditional support and cover for Israel’s aggression.
Hamas called on the international community to take urgent and effective measures to protect the Palestinian people and hold Israel accountable for its violations of international law and human rights.
