In an interview with Arise TV, Igweh disclosed that the police recently conducted a major operation that led to the arrest of 1,216 Baban Bolas. The arrested individuals are currently in prison, and the police recovered several guns from them during the operation.

Igweh emphasized that this large-scale effort to arrest and detain the Baban Bolas demonstrates the police’s commitment to reducing crime in the FCT. He stated, “People don’t ask what of Baban Bola, are you seeing them again, I arrested 1,216 Baban Bola. They are in the prison. For you to have the effrontery to arrest this number of people and take them to where they are supposed to go is not a common movement.”
