Agbola said in a recent Channels TV documentary that Wike employed police officers to stop a judge from being arrested while he was governor. He underlined the necessity for agencies to enforce the law without intervention and stated that no agency should impede another agency from performing its functions.

In Agbola’s words: “When a Judge was to be arrested in Rivers, Wike brought policemen to prevent the arrest from being done. Whether rightly or wrongly is immaterial, the legality of the arrest is different but why would one agency prevent another agency from carrying out its duties?
