Behold The New Commander IRT, Mohammed Sanusi, His Team Arrested Kidnappers & Recovered Arms-According to Adejobi

The new commander of the IRT, DC, has been introduced by CSP Olumyiwa Adejobi, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Police Force. Sanusi Mohammed. Speaking further, the police spokesperson noted that within two days after the launching of the Special Intervention Squad, in Abuja, by the Inspector General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, the IRT has picked two gun runners and four suspected kidnappers who terrorise the FCT and neighbouring communities.

The police spokesperson made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Friday, noting that the operations of the IRT are still on. He went on and made it known that the Nigerian Police will tell Nigerians more about the new Special Intervention Squad that was formed by the police.

He wrote: “Behold, the new commander IRT, DC Mohammed Sanusi. His team has arrested many kidnappers and recovered arms and ammunition, many of which were displayed recently. Just 2 days after the launching of the Special Intervention Squad (SIS) in abuja, by the IGP, IRT has picked 2 gun runners and 4 suspected kidnappers who terrorise the FCT and neighbouring communities.

“The operations are still on. Details to come soon, as we intend to brief the media/Nigerians on these developments. We count on your support to do more. Thanks.”

It should be recalled that a notorious kidnapper, Chinaza Philips, who has been terrorising the federal capital territory, Abuja, was arrested by the police along Abuja – Kaduna road, while he was transporting his victim to their hideout.  CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
