While reacting, Mr Bashir Ahmad made it known that the Islamic cleric who expressed such view has deviated from the core principles of Islamic religion, noting that Islamic religion teaches members how to live peacefully with others. He went on and noted that “the Quran and Hadith emphasize respect, tolerance, and kindness towards all individuals, regardless of their faith or background.”
Mr Bashir Ahmad made this disclosure in a long post he made on his official X handle handle, while reacting to the report. He went on and made it known that “Islam advocates for peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and understanding among diverse communities.”
In addition, the former presidential aide noted that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), throughout his lifetime, lived peacefully with other individuals, regardless of their faith. He went on and noted that Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), permitted a delegation of Christians from Najran to conduct their worship within his mosque.
