He said Peter Obi has made it clear that he will not settle for vice presidency, which influenced his departure from the PDP. In Fatunke’s words: “Come 2027 there is going to be a very strong alliance and movement is already afoot getting there. Who do I think is going to head that ticket? That now is the elephant in the room. The parties are just looking for how to use one another and stuff like that. Atiku with the statement that he is making right now that ‘if the ticket is zoned to southeast’, I think that is being clever by half.
