However, he expressed concerns about the Nigerian minimum wage negotiations, stating that they were going to be needlessly challenging. He attributed this difficulty to the Federal Government’s decisions, which he believed had tainted the negotiation environment. Specifically, he mentioned the approval of a reckless N90 billion Hajj Subsidy and the provision of Luxury SUVs for Legislators.

According to him, these actions created a false impression that the Federal Government was financially well-off, thereby complicating the bargaining process.
