Kashim Ibrahim Shettima stated on his verified Facebook page; “Yesterday, I joined other dignitaries including former President Muhammadu Buhari, family and friends of Alhaji Nasiru Danu, in Jigawa State for the colourful turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Danu as Sardaunan Dutse at the palace of the Emir in Dutse.”
He added; “Our delegation comprised Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State; Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo; former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; former Ministers of Aviation, Hadi Sirika and Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.”
He stated further; “The event was also graced by former Chief of Army Staff, Yusuf Buratai; former Chief of Naval Staff, Auwal Gambo; former Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Abubakar; former Comptroller-General of Immigration, Muhammed Babandede; the Emir of Daura, Umar Faruk, the Emir of Lafia, Muhammad Sidi-Bage and the Emir of Kazaure, Najib Husseini-Adamu. The occasion also witnessed the installation of Mr. Adokiye Ikpoki as the Sodangin Dutse by the Emir.of Dutse, in recognition of his service to humanity.”
