Shehu Sani, the former senator and activist from Nigeria, sparked a lot of discussion when he posted on his official social media website, X platform, which was once known as Twitter, in response to a Nigerian girl from Kaduna State who had won an international mathematics award. “Meet the Nigerian girl, Nasara James Dabo, a 13-year-old prodigy from Southern Kaduna State with an IQ that sits amongst the top 1% globally.

At the International Mathematical Olympiad, she solved 34 math problems in just 172 seconds, (an average of 5 secs per question) winning a gold medal in the junior category.”
