As Gov of Kaduna, without removing fuel subsidy I cannot even pay salary — According to Uba Sani

The incumbent governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has maintained that Nigerians should give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a chance because they don’t know him well. Governor Uba Sani had said, “And removal of the fuel subsidy is the best thing that could happen to this country, because who are benefiting, very few Nigerians benefit; and Asiwaju now decided to say look, let’s do this thing for the best interest of everyone in Nigeria. As the Governor of Kaduna State, without removing fuel subsidy I can’t even pay salary in Nigeria, and who are those benefiting, very few Nigerians that are not more than 100 or 200 are benefiting from subsidy; that’s number one.”
