The fact that bye elections were held on Saturday in numerous centers and states is no longer news.
Nonetheless, the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, declared a number of winners following the polls.
Bashir Ahmad has now reacted to the outcome of the elections. In a post that he shared on his X handle on Sunday, he said the All Progressive Congress, APC, won in Enugu, Lagos, Katsina, Kebbi and Ondo. He said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP won in Jigawa and Kaduna while the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP also won in Kano. He however stated that it is the beauty of democracy.
