Mrs. Tinubu made this statement while speaking about the demise of the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in a video shared on YouTube by TVC. She acknowledged Akeredolu’s efforts suggesting that he had done his best in his endeavors and stated that her family held him in high regard. She also extended prayers to comfort the grieving family and added that Akeredolu’s accomplishments should be a source of solace.

In Mrs Oluremi Tinubu’s words “When people ask if someone is sick, I say who is ever well? We all have an ailment and it is only God that gives us each day to live by. He (Akeredolu) has done his best, he was a great man loved by my family and respected by my husband. We can only wish that the legacies he left behind can continue and endure, and I wish the family that God should comfort them and ease their pain.
